My approach is relationally oriented and solution focused. Therapy is based on a wellness model that supports the underlying healthy self, while working to unravel faulty beliefs that prevent people from living their best lives.

Dr. Amy Vail incorporates her extensive training and experience into her work with clients. Her approach to therapy includes Transpersonal Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Object Relations Therapy, Control Mastery Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Dr. Vail’s interests include spiritual development, intuitive awareness, experiential learning, and wilderness therapy. Dr. Vail is a Reiki Master and a Conscious Healing Practitioner. She incorporates intuition and energetic medicine in her practice.

Dr. Vail recognized that all people are different and therefore have different therapeutic needs. She tailors her approach to the individual client, and their needs. She works collaboratively with other health care providers, and strives to provide her patients with the best care possible.
