Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition in which a person has trouble paying attention, has trouble sitting still, and tends to act impulsively.

Generalized anxiety disorder involves feeling worried and stressed about everyday events and activities.

The most common symptoms of depression are a pervasive feeling of sadness and a loss of interest in activities that were typically enjoyable.

Grief is a response that occurs after losing someone or something important, while the bereavement process is unique and personal to each individual.

Insomnia, or the inability to fall asleep or stay asleep, can have a profound effect on quality of life. The vast majority of people in the United States do not get enough sleep, either by choice or because of difficulty falling and staying sleeping.

Common types of therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that is helpful in addressing a variety of mental health conditions.

EMDR is designed to help individuals manage the distress associated with past trauma.

Examples of issues commonly brought to couples therapy are conflict, infidelity, crisis, such as illness, addiction, job loss, and issues with children.

Art therapy, often used in conjunction with talk therapy, can assist individuals of all ages in reducing distress and enhancing self awareness.

DBT is particularly helpful with difficult to treat mental health conditions, such as borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, PTSD and substance use that occurs in combination with these conditions.
