APPROACH & MORE ABOUT ME

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a private practice in San Carlos, CA. I received my BA from Santa Clara University and went on to obtain my MA at the University of San Francisco. Over the last 20+ years, I have worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds. I was drawn to this work because of my passion to support people as they navigate the emotional challenges in their lives. My primary area of focus is helping individuals who are experiencing a transition in their life and my goal is to empower clients in a compassionate and understanding way.

I began my career as a school counselor where I had the privilege of connecting with youth as they negotiated challenging milestones. As a social worker working with families in crisis I was amazed to see how families can overcome trauma when given the right support and services. My private practice is focused on working with individual adults, teens and families who may be experiencing a variety of stressors.

By offering nurturing support along with concrete tools, my hope is to offer a compassionate perspective to encourage healing and address emotional needs. I strive to help clients develop more effective strategies to manage stress, increase self-esteem, develop more peaceful relationships and live more fully in the present.
