APPROACH & MORE ABOUT ME

I provide a safe, judgement-free and compassionate space to facilitate maximum growth. This allows the client to feel seen, heard and reveal their truest self and unique story. It has always been my life’s purpose and passion to help as many individuals as possible in their healing process of expansion and resolution.

I use a number of different therapeutic techniques, based on the individual clients’ needs. These interventions can change during a session or over time.

I believe we are all born with everything we need for optimal recovery. Through life’s circumstances, as well as challenging relationships, we collect traumas. Often because they are not properly healed, the wounds stay within our bodies and therefore, leave us with unconscious blockages that get in the way of us being fully present.

Through my experience in further developing EMDR therapy and the powerful mind and body connection, I will help you to target unhealthy patterns. Breathing exercises and guided imagery can also be useful. This process will allow you to experience more peace and joy in the present. Reprocessing methods can also make room for more adaptive thoughts and memories. It is my honor and privilege to be on this journey with you towards greater freedom.

“When your mind is no longer governed by the past and when you feel peace in situations where you used to feel tension. You more easily connect with joy.... The healing is real when your mind feels lighter…”

-Yung Pueblo

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

I have a broad background of experience which includes: Play Therapy, Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Mindfulness approaches with adults, children, adolescents, couples and families.

Most recently, my career as an LMFT consists of treating clients privately through Insight Psychotherapy Group.

In addition, I have worked for many years at The South Bay Center for Counseling in Manhattan Beach, California, where my clientele included children, adolescents, adults and families in crisis.

Prior to these experiences, my career consisted of private practice in the West Los Angeles area, an outpatient facility College Hospital Resource Center, where I used short term goal-directed trauma interventions and The Family Service Center at El Toro Marine Base.

I have also enjoyed my time spent working with underserved teenagers in the high school setting, as well as leading youth and parenting groups.

Additionally, I incorporate EMDR therapy as I develop this strategy further.
